Hudson.

The last year we will be making this wine. I wanted to prove I could make one of the finest Pinot's from this warmer region! Of course that’s saying something since there has been many great producers before me such as, Etude, Patz & Hall, Paul Hobbs, Robert Mondavi and the list goes on! But with the help of Lee Hudson I believe we achieved our goal. This wine is packed full of great Carneros fruit but it's much lower in Alc. then the usual wines of the region. We picked the grapes early and were rewarded with great dimensions of flavors. This wine boast's of dark brooding berries, cinnamon, cumin, and toasty Oak. It also reveals a layer of minerals and Animal, finishing with bright berries and stone. Excellent final chapter in our relationship with these grapes!
